How to delete your account in the app

The fastest way is to delete your account directly in the Cigario app:

1. Open the Cigario app.
2. Go to Profile → Settings.
3. Tap "Delete my account".
4. Confirm. Your account and all associated data will be permanently removed.

Delete your account by email

If you cannot access the app, you can request deletion by email. Write to us from the address you used to register at:

What data is deleted

When you delete your account, the following data is permanently removed:

• Profile (display name, email, profile photo, bio)
• Your humidor and all stored cigars
• Journal entries, reviews and cigar ratings
• Posts, photos, likes and comments
• Wishlist and the list of users you follow

Data retention

After your request is confirmed, your personal data is removed from active systems immediately and from backup systems within 30 days at the latest. Data cannot be recovered after deletion.

Some anonymized, non-identifiable data (e.g. aggregated cigar ratings in the database) may be retained, as it can no longer be linked to you.
