Supabase operates infrastructure in the European Union. If any processing takes place outside the EU, appropriate safeguards under Article 46 GDPR, such as standard contractual clauses, are applied.

• Account data is retained for as long as your account exists.
• After account deletion, all related personal data is permanently removed within 30 days.
• Anonymized aggregate statistics may be retained for a longer period.

9. Age Restriction and Age Verification

Cigario is intended only for individuals aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If we discover that such data has been provided, we will delete it promptly.

When the app is first launched, we verify age by asking for your date of birth. We do not store your date of birth — it is used only for a one-time local check that you are at least 18 years old. After verification, only an “age confirmed” flag is kept on the device, not the date of birth itself. We apply this approach in line with the data minimisation principle (Article 5(1)(c) GDPR).

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including encrypted transmission (TLS), access controls, and regular backups.
