Churchill Cigar Club

Churchill Cigar Club is an art-deco speakeasy in northern Madrid, hidden on the ground floor of the Klimt cocktail bar on Calle del Capitán Haya and named after the great cigar-smoking statesman.

It is built around the relaxed ritual of a premium cigar: a humidor of carefully chosen Cuban, Dominican and Nicaraguan references, a deep list of fine spirits, and the freedom to bring your own cigars. Access is through an annual membership, which keeps the indoor smoking legal and the room intimate.

Quiet, characterful and made for conversation, it is one of the city's most enjoyable independent rooms for connoisseurs.
