Bovey Castle is a grand early-20th-century castle hotel set in 275 acres on the edge of Dartmoor National Park in Devon, all panelled halls, log fires and country-house grandeur.

After dinner, guests head to its outdoor cigar den to enjoy an expertly chosen cigar with a paired smoky cocktail around an open fire — a characterful way to round off an evening in the Devon countryside.

Relaxed and atmospheric, it is the West Country's standout spot for a cigar.
