Brand history
Graycliff Cigars emerged from the renowned Graycliff Hotel in Nassau, Bahamas, a destination synonymous with luxury and fine living. Established in 1997, the brand quickly gained recognition for its commitment to artisanal craftsmanship and premium tobacco blends. It represents a unique Bahamian contribution to the world of premium cigars, offering a distinctive smoking experience. Known for its boutique production and meticulous attention to detail, Graycliff caters to discerning aficionados seeking an exclusive and refined cigar.
From Hotel to Humidor
The Graycliff Hotel, a historic landmark in Nassau, Bahamas, expanded its luxury offerings in 1997 by establishing its own cigar factory. This venture was spearheaded by Enrico Garzaroli, the hotel's owner, with a vision to create cigars that matched the hotel's opulent reputation. Initially, production was small-scale, focusing on quality over quantity, and quickly garnered attention from guests and cigar enthusiasts alike.
Boutique Craftsmanship and Flavor Profiles
Graycliff cigars are characterized by their boutique production methods, emphasizing traditional hand-rolling techniques. The brand is known for utilizing a diverse range of high-quality tobaccos, often resulting in complex and nuanced flavor profiles. Expect a medium to full-bodied experience, frequently featuring notes of coffee, chocolate, spice, and a creamy finish, reflecting a sophisticated and balanced blend.
Signature Blends and Exclusivity
Among Graycliff's notable lines are the original Graycliff series, the Crystal, and the Chateau Grand Cru, each offering a distinct journey for the palate. The brand's commitment to exclusivity means that production remains relatively limited, ensuring a high standard of quality control. Graycliff cigars are often sought after by collectors and those who appreciate a unique, handcrafted luxury item.
