La Aroma de Cuba

La Aroma de Cuba is a renowned premium cigar brand with a rich history, though its modern iteration is firmly rooted in Nicaragua. Originally a beloved Cuban marque from the late 19th century, it was successfully re-launched by Ashton Distributors in collaboration with the Garcia family of My Father Cigars. Today, the brand is celebrated for its consistently well-crafted, flavorful cigars that offer a sophisticated smoking experience. It has garnered critical acclaim for its blend of traditional artistry and contemporary Nicaraguan tobacco expertise.

A Storied Past, A Nicaraguan Future

The original La Aroma de Cuba brand dates back to the late 19th century in Cuba, reportedly a favorite of Winston Churchill. After its decline post-revolution, the brand was revitalized in 2002 by Ashton Distributors. This revival saw a partnership with the esteemed Garcia family of My Father Cigars, who began producing the cigars in their acclaimed factory in Estelí, Nicaragua, breathing new life into the historic name.

The Signature Nicaraguan Profile

La Aroma de Cuba cigars are characterized by their medium to full-bodied profiles, showcasing the rich and robust flavors of Nicaraguan tobaccos. Smokers can typically expect a complex interplay of earthy notes, black pepper, cedar, and subtle hints of sweetness or coffee. The construction is consistently excellent, ensuring an even burn and a smooth draw, reflecting the meticulous craftsmanship synonymous with the My Father Cigars factory.
