Juan Lopez

Juan López was created in the 1870s by a Spaniard of the same name. Habanos describes it as a Cuban brand with a relatively small but loyal following. Selección No. 1 and especially Selección No. 2 have long formed the core of its range. The Cuban brand uses tobacco from Vuelta Abajo. Cigario currently lists Seleccion No. 2; another vitola should not be treated as the same product simply because it shares the brand name.

Origins

According to Habanos, the brand dates to the 1870s and bears its founder's name.
