Cuaba

Cuaba was introduced in 1996 as a revival of the traditional Cuban double figurado shape, which had been fashionable in the late nineteenth century. Its cigars taper toward both ends, making their silhouette an important part of the brand's identity. Habanos lists Divinos, Tradicionales, Generosos, and Exclusivos among the original formats, with larger vitolas added later. Any catalog image or description should preserve the actual shape of the specific Cuaba cigar.

Reviving an old shape

The brand began in 1996 at the Romeo y Julieta factory as a revival of the historic double figurado shape.

A recognizable silhouette

The taper at both ends distinguishes Cuaba from ordinary straight-sided vitolas. Cigario records include Divinos and Exclusivos.
