Crowned Heads

Crowned Heads is a premium cigar brand established in 2011 by Jon Huber and Mike Conder. Known for their distinctive blends and commitment to quality, the brand's cigars are primarily crafted in Nicaragua, often in collaboration with renowned factories. They have quickly gained recognition for their artisanal approach, drawing inspiration from various cultural elements. Crowned Heads aims to create unique smoking experiences that resonate with both traditionalists and modern enthusiasts.

Founding and Philosophy

Crowned Heads was founded in 2011 by Jon Huber and Mike Conder, former executives at CAO Cigars. Their vision was to create a boutique cigar company focused on quality, creativity, and a hands-on approach to blending. From the outset, they emphasized collaboration with master blenders and established factories, primarily in Nicaragua, to bring their unique concepts to life.

Signature Blending Style

Crowned Heads cigars are often characterized by their balanced complexity and nuanced flavor profiles. While they don't adhere to a single strength profile, many of their offerings lean towards medium to full-bodied, delivering rich notes of earth, spice, coffee, and subtle sweetness. The brand is known for its meticulous selection of tobaccos and precise construction, ensuring a consistent and enjoyable smoking experience.

Key Collaborations and Inspirations

A significant aspect of Crowned Heads' success lies in their strategic partnerships, notably with Ernesto Perez-Carrillo Jr. at Tabacalera La Alianza S.A. and the Garcia family at My Father Cigars. Many of their popular lines, such as Four Kicks, Le Carême, and Mil Días, reflect these collaborations. The brand frequently draws inspiration from music, history, and art, embedding these themes into their cigar names and packaging designs.
